Ruth F. Gibson

Spoke with Ruth several times in her community connections. We reminisced about growing up in the wonderful Beverly neighborhood. Both my mother and all of my five siblings graduated with pride (and incredible educations) from Morgan Park High School! I was in the Class of 1970 and then went to another great educational institution, Purdue University. I know she has many souls to greet her in her new home!

So much more could be told about my Wheaton College schoolmate and neighbor with Denny here at Windsor Park Community: her lifelong support of Young Life Ministries, her record chree full terms on the Wheaton Alumni Association board of directors, her volunteerism in the school's alumni office, her years as a Bible Church greeter and congregant, herpartnership in her husband's counseling clinic, her infectious enthusiasm wherever and to whomever she met...all flowing, as has been said, from her love for her Lord. May her sons and their families take comfortin assurance that she is already spreading joy in the presence of Jesus and the saints gone before,
even as we here will miss our Ruthie until we meet again.
