WORCESTER-Ruth Gomez, 47, of Tacoma Street, died Monday, March 12 in UMASS Memorial Hospital. She leaves two sons, Miguel Gomez and George Lebron, a daughter, Denise Cuevas, all of Worcester; her father, Salome Gomez of Worcester; three brothers, Joel Gomez in Puerto Rico, Pedro and Elias Gomez of Worcester; six sisters, Esther Gomez, Yvette Gomez, Anna Gomez and Kathy Gomez, all of Worcester, Abagail Gomez in Puerto Rico and Rosa Gomez in Springfield; five grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. She was born in Puerto Rico and predeceased by her mother, Gregoria (Delgado) Gomez.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16 at 11:30 AM in Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday, March 15 from 5-8 PM in the funeral home.
