I can distinctly remember the look on my son's face when I asked him about the lady who read to his class at GES. And then when I told him she took aerobics with me, he was sure I was fibbing to him - Ruth's time with the youth of Goochland was a great joy to her. Cancer had quite the adversary in Ruth, she worked with multiple Relay for Life teams to raise awareness and funds for the fight - a true example of a Survivor and Caregiver. Thank you, Ruth, for your time and life lessons, and for making ALL of us dance in aerobics.

I remember how surprised my son was when he realized the lady who read to his class at school was in my aerobics group. Ruth knew him and relayed stories of her classroom time. She was quite an adversary of cancer - working with multiple Relay for Life teams to reaise money and awareness - a true survivor. Thanks, Ruth, for sharing and teaching us so much.

Robbie and Family~
I'm so sorry to learn of your Grandmother's passing. Even though I hadn't seen Ruth in recent years, she was my friend. I rode to work to the Courthouse with Ruth for several years while living at Sandy Hook. I know she and my Mother, Gloria Salmon, went to club meetings together and our families were friends. As a barber for years, my Daddy, Dick. cut Jesse and Robert's hair until he retired - perhaps he did yours too.

May all your wonderful memories enfold and comfort you in God's love.

Sincerely,
Ann Denby Bridges' Mother

To Ruth's Family,

Ruth was a faithful participant in the Parks & Rec Aerobics and More class. She made us laugh and she was an encouragement because of all she was involved in. We love Ruth and will miss her.
