I was a 15 year old Girl Scout in 1961 when I took the attached photo of Ruth who was then the Camp Director of Camp Brady in Patterson, NY. Camp Brady was a Girl Scout camp for kids from NYC. I posted it on the Camp Brady Facebook page yesterday and another scout posted this information about Ruth's passing. She was a very kind and gentle person...what you look for a in good leader. My condolences to the family for your loss.

Ruth was very welcoming to my family and I at St John´s. She coached us in Confirmation lessons and accompanied us to the Confirmation ceremony at the St Philips Cathedral. She gifted me with a Book of Common Prayer. She is remembered as our family priest because of her care, her commitment, and thoughtful and meaningful role in our lives.

Ruth and I saw many, many movies together over the years, always followed by dinner and lively conversation. I have missed her and will always remember our time together at St John´s.
