Ruth Anne Hickey

HICKEY, Ruth A. (nee Valdez). August 5, 2015. Age 78. Beloved wife of Richard for 59 years. Loving mother of Kevin Hickey, Karen Hickey, Robert (Lori) Hickey, Laura (Dave) Perkins, Michael (Mary) Hickey and Lisa (Randall) Vander Weit. Proud and loving grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Charles (Sandy) Valdez, Linda (Walter) Olsowy and the late George and Elmer Valdez. Mrs. Hickey enjoyed music, especially Elvis, and was a very talented floral designer. Above everything else, she loved her family and was a very proud Grandma. Visitation for family will be Saturday 6-9pm, and for friends and extended family on Sunday from 1-9pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Monday 9am until time of 9:30am Mass at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 15 Mile Rd. (at Dodge Park), Sterling Hts. Interment, St. Clement Cemetery, Center Line.
