Ruth Jackson Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Jackson, age 93, of Dover, TN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at her home. She was born on August 14, 1932, in Stewart County, TN, the cherished daughter of the late Elijah Page, Sr. and Sennie Elizabeth Jenkins Page.
Ruth found joy in watching gospel singings and preaching on television. In her younger years, she loved singing with her siblings, and she was raised attending Bethel Church of God. Her spirit, love of music, and devotion to her family will be deeply remembered.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thurman Jackson; daughter, Silvia Pope; nine siblings; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Rita Jackson, Darlene Sandquist, and Belinda Yahnel; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Pastor David Austin officiating. Burial will take place at Austin Cemetery in Indian Mound, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
