Ruth Jewett Southworth Obituary
Jennie was born on February 5, 1935 in Kingsport, TN, to the late Russell and Sallie Vaughn Jewett. She was a resident of Asheville since the early 1950's and a devout, lifelong member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Despite suffering from various health conditions over the years, her hope for the future is described in Revelations 21:3,4.
She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Southworth who passed away in 2020.
Surviving Jennie are her sons, Russell Southworth (Lori) of Asheville, NC, Paul Southworth (Armenia) of Debary, FL, and Phillip Southworth (Yaritza) of Asheville, NC, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and an extended family who loved her very much.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
