Ruth Knisely Obituary
Ruth was born in York on November 30, 1951. She was a longtime employee of Memorial Hospital where she worked hard until her retirement. She will be remembered as a dedicated and compassionate member of their emergency room staff.
Ruth is survived by her former husband and still great friend, Roger Allen Knisely; her daughters Heather Mundis, Allison Knisely-Freeland and husband Vincent, and Melanie Knisely McMullen and husband Scott; her cherished grandchildren Megan Skillan and husband Tyler, Blake Mundis and wife Brittany, Larissa Mundis, Anthony Freeland, and Matthew McMullen; and one cherished great-grandson Jaxson Mundis.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 2:30PM at Jabez Ministries, 40 Jefferson Ave., York, PA 17401 with the Honorable Reverend Adrian Boxley officiating.

Dear Knisely family,
Time has passed, but I think of Ruthie often. I have fond memories of our days @ Memorial. We took a trip to the beach, oh what fun we had.
I especially enjoyed Ruthie's potato salad, makes my mouth water just thinking of it.
Hope all of the family are doing well, my best to each of you.

Dear Knisely family,
I was so sorry to learn of Ruthie's passing.
What a grand lady and a wonderful friend. We worked together for many years @ Memorial. Ruthie was a loyal and dedicated person with greater than usual work ethic. I always knew when Ruthie was working in Fast ER with me that no matter what we faced that night we'd get through it with ease.
I will miss her greatly , but have fond memories.
