Ruth Susan Hirsch Kravitz

Ruth Susan Hirsch Kravitz, 72, of Sunrise, FL, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Hospice By The Sea, Boca Raton, FL. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 29, 1945, she resided there until moving to East Windsor, NJ in 1972 with her husband and children until 2008. She loved to take trips and spend time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Predecased by her parents, Leon and Sylvia (Berman) Hirsch, and her granddaughter, Samantha Morgan Slattery; she is survived by her husband, Arthur Kravitz, her son Jeff Kravitz and wife Dayna, her daughter, Ellen Slattery and husband Tom, her brother, Allan Hirsch and her grandchildren, Logan, Andrew, Blake and Delaney. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 12:30 pm at the Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, NJ. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in Monmouth Junction, NJ. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Trustbridge Hospice. Shiva will be observed at the Slattery Residence, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9, Friday 2-4, Saturday 7-9 and Sunday beginning at 1p.m.
