Ruth Kurth Obituary
Throughout her life, Ruth was a dedicated mother and wife. She was a member of the East Haddam Fire Department in the 1960s and 70s, where she was a radio dispatcher. In her free time, Ruth enjoyed making ceramics, listening to her records, playing BINGO, and working in her yard.
Ruth will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by her children, Alfred and Maryann of East Haddam, and Kathy and Dennis of Stella, NC; her grandson Buckshot; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Care of arrangements has been entrusted to the Aurora McCarthy Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th, at 11AM, at the Salem Green Cemetery in Salem, CT. I'm sad to hear of Ruth's passing. I met her thru helping as a care giver, we played alot of cards, go fish and war, and she was merciless! She also loved playing checkers. I was sad when I stopped being help. She had so much to share about her life. My condolences to the family!
