Ruth L. (Maimaron) Mariano of Braintree, formerly of Quincy, passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 94. Ruth is leaving behind a legacy of her unconditional love for her family, and unwavering faith in God. Her annual trips to California, to visit her “west coast” children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren kept the family bonds strong throughout the years. Her enjoyment of travel took her to Italy, Alaska, Ireland, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands and many places within the United States.
Her happy place was her summer home at The William and Mary in Dennis Port where she spent her summers for the last 25 years. As an active and social person, Ruth had many friends. She spent her leisure time playing cards, games, reading, crocheting, participating in many activities at the Whipple Center in Weymouth, and taking occasional trips to the casino.
Ruth was a strong, inspiring, and independent woman, however her duties as a mother never ended, making family dinners, helping with her grandchildren, and freely giving advice.
She was loved by all and will forever be missed.
She was the loving mother of David Mariano and his wife Kathleen of Braintree; Beverly Quinn and her husband William of Murrieta, CA; Linda Mariano of Mission Viejo, CA; Ron Mariano and his wife Janine of Newport Beach, CA; and Paul Mariano and his wife Debra of Weymouth. Proud "Mem" to her grandchildren: David, Jr., Jeffrey, Kevin, Keri, Michael, Krystal, Laura, Julie, Samantha, Olivia, and great grandchildren: Leonardo, Fiona, Katelyn, Charlize, Gemma, Casey and Belle. Sister of Virginia Rowan of FL, William Maimaron of Weymouth, the late Leo St. Jean, the late Gertrude Dexter, the late Thomas Maimaron, the late Lorraine Hill, the late Gabriel Maimaron; and the late Eleanor Lemond. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
