Ruth Lillian Moodhe (nee Spiker) 67 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
The viewing service will be held at Old Bridge Funeral Home for family and close friends on Tuesday May 27, 2025 from 2-5pm.
Ruth was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 28, 1957 to Ruth Brandau and Laurence Spiker. She graduated from St. Edmund High School in 1975 and went on to earn a degree in business from St. Francis College in 1979. She worked for the New York Telephone Company for 10 years as well as having a career in banking for many years, both in New York and New Jersey. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, completing crossword puzzles, listening to classical music, and watching her Washington Commanders play football.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, John Moodhe, her children Kellianne and Kevin, her sweet dog Nell, sisters Elizabeth Spiker, and Stephanie Ganley (Peter), brother-in-laws Joseph Moodhe and James Moodhe (Joanne), several nieces and nephews, and close friends. She is predeceased by her parents Ruth and Laurence Spiker and her sister Suanne Spiker.
