Simple Traditions by Bradshaw - Saint Paul - HighlandRuth Eleanor Anderson Moore was born on December 19, 1932, the fourth child and only daughter of Edith and Ossian Anderson, on the Eastside of St. Paul at Jenks and Earl. She graduated from Johnson High School in the class of 1950. After graduation she attended dental hygiene school at the University of Minnesota, leading her to a 44-year career before her retirement in 1999.
Ruth's three children were the center of her world as she lived, worked and grew old near Idaho and Edgerton. Her favorite pastimes were spending time visiting with her kids and her two grandchildren, her animals, cheering for the Vikings, reading her newspaper, sitting in her backyard or on the dock at the lake. She was amazing!
After many years of independence, stubbornness and great strength, sadly she began showing signs of memory loss and at 91 was moved to St. Andrews Village, Mahtomedi, and then to Boutwells Landing Gables, Stillwater, where she died on November 10, 2025.
Ruth is survived by her three children: Richard Moore (Debbie), Jennifer Kelsey (Mark), and Judy Moore (Bob). Her grandchildren: Zachary Kelsey and Lillian Kelsey. And her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the animal shelter or rescue of your choice.
