Ruth N. Noack, 84, of Quakertown, PA, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Valley Manor in Coopersburg, PA.
Born on May 18, 1941 in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Jacob C. Ritter and Alice (Ritter) Brad.
Following her formal education, she married and became a dedicated homemaker, exercising her talents as a great cook and caregiver and delighting others with her memorable sense of humor. Ruth’s larger-than-life personality brought joy and laughter into any room.
Ruth enjoyed traveling, playing a spirited game of pinochle, and listening to an eclectic collection of music. A lover of nature, she favored yellow roses and being in the company of animals—especially horses and dogs. Above all, though, Ruth loved spending time with her grandchildren, as well as nannying for twins and many other children whom she adored. Ruth was a natural encourager, making friends wherever she went and giving of her time to serve others.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband: Willard “Peter” Kurtz, who passed away in 2009; her second husband: Paul J. Noack, Jr., who passed away in 2022; and her brother: Richard Ritter.
Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her sons: David (Rachel) Kurtz and Daniel Kurtz; daughters: Ruth Ann (Michael) Reinsmith and Rebecca (Matthew) Reinsmith; grandchildren: Jasmine, Jesse, Olivia, Hannah, Jacob, Harlan, Samara, Nathan, and Jenna, as well as nine great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service—in the funeral home—at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Tohickon Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to the Bucks County SPCA.
