On the memory of this precious lady and friend, I'd like to share that there was not a day that went by that Ruth didn't impact my life and our familiy's, also. We had almost daily talks about flowers, what she was making for supper, the elections, God, memories of her children, and how much she loved her husband. She would ask me to come sit awhile in the sunroom and talk. Many sweet priceless moments were made together standing under the trees, walking out by the mailbox, or sitting in the chair in the sunroom. I gained as a woman/wife/mother as I gained such wisdom and insight from Ruth! I truly miss talking with her and Jim. They made a tremendous difference in our lives. My husband and Jeff will always hold deeply our love and many beautiful times with Ruth and Jim......we miss our loved neighbors and friends so much!
Thank you to this couple for showing us what true love looked like and how you both illuminated Christ's love every day to us and to others. Our lives have been changed because you took time to share your kindness and love with us. We are eternally thankful for you!!! With a heart full of love and respect to these sweet neighbors and friends. We will always love you, lots! Thank you❤

This special lady and woman I called friend, Ruth had a heart of gold. My husband and family lived right next door to Jim and Ruth for years, they both were the most kind and friendly neighbors! We enjoyed every conversation and moments of time together. They both spoke words of wisdom into our lives. I had the great honor of being invited by Ruth to the sunroom of their home where we would spend precious hours conversing and sharing with each other. We love both Jim and Ruth and will forever be thankful for their example of love to us. Ruth will greatly be missed but for now she waits by the Lord for us all to join them one day soon in heaven. Our condolences to Jim and your family, we love you, all. Love, The Jeff and Holly Jaenke family on Sherman Creek Road in Eau Claire

We sure enjoyed having Ruth as our neighbor for several years, on Sherman Creek Road, here in Eau Claire. She always walked around the neighborhood, visiting with everyone along the way. We really missed her when they moved back to MN. George and Donna Miller
