Ruth Anna Pierce, 89, passed away at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 8th, 1934 to the late Oscar Conrad and Anna Katherine Ryland Conrad in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Ruth graduated from Lebanon High School in 1952 and shortly after married the love of her life, Frederick S. Pierce in 1958. She was known for her radiant smile, her infinite kindness, her bright colors, her home made cherry pies and her love for Jesus. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Frederick S. Pierce; son Fred S. Pierce, II and wife Judy Pierce, daughter Suzanne M. Lynn and husband Peter R. Lynn; Grandchildren Meghan Bachmann and husband William Bachmann, Jordan Lynn, Erin Lynn; Great-Grandchild Charlotte Bachmann; and Sister Elizabeth M. Weisman. Ruth was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Conrad. A public gathering will be held at Christman’s Funeral Home, on Friday, February 9th, 2024 at 1:30 PM followed by a Graveside service at Schaefferstown Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
