Ruth was born on September 30, 1927 and passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Ruth was a resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan at the time of passing. She graduated from Hammond High School in 1945 and then lived in Washington, D.C. (1945-47), Lansing, Illinois (1947-1974), Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania (1974-2013), and Grand Rapids, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ruth's memory through the Clark Foundation at Clark Retirement Community in Grand Rapids, MI or Beaver County Christian School in Beaver Falls, PA.

It's strange to walk by the sewing room and not see Ruth making her beautiful quilts. Always a smile and always ready to have a chat. She is missed at Clark and May she Rest In Peace

Mrs. Recker taught me how to sew decorative felt mittens. She was such a pleasant sweetheart. I didn't spend a lot of time with her, and I haven't seen her in years, but can still see her beautiful smile.
