Ruth Dixon Reddick, 78, entered into rest Wednesday, February 18, 2026. She was a native and lifelong resident of Sardis. She worked at Sardis Manufacturing Company until her retirement. Ruth was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She loved her dogs, cooking, and flowers. She loved her family and was a caretaker for her sister for a few years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Emily Miller Dixon; her husband, Jesse Willard “JW” Reddick; and two brothers, Miller Dixon and Martin Dixon.

She is survived by three sons, Curtis Jenkins (Julie) of Waynesboro, Rodney Jenkins, and Ronnie Jenkins both of Knoxville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Tyler Jenkins of Waynesboro and Beth Jenkins Stembridge (Dylan) of California; three sisters, Betty Lane, Peggy Godbee, and Raydean Black all of Girard; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, February 24 at Sardis Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Steve Sirmons officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Lane, Lawson Lane, Todd Lane, Grady Callison, Ken Stephens, and Nathaniel Miles.

Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
