Ruth Shelton Obituary
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ray Price and Harold Price; and her husband, William Shelton.
She is survived by two children, Bonnie Jo Pittman of Success, MO and Karla Mansfield, of Houston, MO; three grandchildren, Traci Hawkins of Alabama, Michael Easley and David Easley, both of Springfield; four great grandchildren, Shelby Hawkins and Seth Hawkins of Alabama, and Cara Easley and Lillian Easley of Ohio.
Ruth was a life-long member of Union Free Will Baptist Church. She was a pianist for years and served as treasurer from 1968 until the time of her passing.
She was employed for 30 years at Fort Leonard Wood, MO as a civil service, Military Pay Supervisor.
She enjoyed quilting, embroidering, and fishing. Later, she enjoyed puzzles and Sudoku. She was known for hosting church visitors with lunch.
Ruth will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Memorial contributions may be made to TCMH Hospice of Care in memory of Ruth.
