Ruth Mable Waldron-Smith 88 of Farmington, New Mexico went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2025. Ruth was born on February 21, 1937, in San Jose, New Mexico to Amos Anderson and Molly Lopez.
Ruth was very devoted to her church, worked at Safeway for 22 years. She loved taking walks with 2 very good friends, spending time with her family, going to all the grandkids and great grandkids sporting events and going to lunch and going on car rides around the four corners. She was friends with whomever walked her path. Her friends always say she wasn't just a friend, she was family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in by her Husbands: Vernon V. Waldron Sr. and Alford (Tex) Smith, Parents: Amos Anderson and Molly Anderson; 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Survived by Daughter: Vivian Duncan and husband Don, Son: Vernon (Sonny) Waldron Jr. and wife Dawn Dee, Sister: Janice Desposito and husband Dan of Louisa, VA. Five grandchildren, Don Duncan Jr., Daniel Duncan, Zack Toney and wife Nanetta, David Duncan, and Jesse Waldron, Twelve great grandchildren, Six great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service will be Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2100 E. 20th Street Farmington, NM. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.

What an incredibly sweet woman Ruth was. We enjoyed bowling with her years ago on Muscles & Bustles league. Prayers for the family. Ruth got her wings.
