Ruth Sneed Obituary
Ruth graduated from Escanaba High School in Escanaba, Michigan. She worked in the office at Western Electric for 7 years, and she was "lunch lady" at Hodgkins and Gurrie Schools for many years. Ruth was an active and faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church for many, many years, and an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Visitation 10am until Funeral Service 11am Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 6605 South Kane Avenue, Hodgkins, IL 60525. Interment St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Hodgkins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Church (address above) appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Countryside, IL at 708/352-6500.
