Ruth Gullie Thompson

Mrs. Ruth Gullie Thompson, age 96, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, February 9th, 2025, at NHC Lewisburg.
She was born October 5th, 1928, in Marshall County, to the late James Vive and Selma McKinney Gullie. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wilson Hill Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neman Thompson and two grandchildren, Tim Prater and Wayne Taylor.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda (Clay) Derryberry of Cleveland, three sons, Ron (Azilee) Thompson of Baxley, GA, Steve (Sandra) Thompson of Lewisburg, and Paul (Kay) Thompson of Shelbyville, six grandchildren, Nathan (Cindy) Park of Benton, TN, Rachel (Foye) Troute of Signal Mountain, Vivian (Kevin) Hicks of Gallatin, Chris Thompson of Orlando, Kristin Courtemanche of Lewisburg,and Deanna (John) Reynolds of Baxley, GA, twelve great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and will continue on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Short Cemetery.
