Ruth Watkins, 75, of Williford, Arkansas, passed away at her home on August 20, 2025. She was born in Emporia, Kansas on August 15, 1950.
Ruth enjoyed painting and drawing as a hobby and found comfort in expressing herself through her art. She was an avid reader with a particular love for the works of Stephen King. Ruth also had a soft spot for her cats whom she cared for with great love and devotion. She enjoyed music, especially when sharing it with her husband, Roy.
Ruth is survived by her son, Bryan Thomas and his wife Sherry of Kansas; three grandchildren: Kerry, Patricia, and Shanley, all of Kansas; her stepdaughters: Robyn Thomas, Tiffani Sullivan, and Tobi Watkins, all of Kansas, and Toni Watkins of Michigan; her sisters, Sally and Susie; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Watkins, and her brother, John Vaught.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
