Ruth Elizabeth Weeks

Ten years. Still thinking of you often Ruth.

Ruth continues to live among us as long as she is remembered by those of us priveleged to have known her.

After a year since her passing I think of her often. When I think of Ruth it is always how much fun it was to talk to her about almost anything. She had a classical value set but was so very aware of the "Hoi Polloi" and people in a down to earth way. I miss running things by her and having her judgement to avail myself of. I wish I could have given her half what she gave me!

Listen, luv, I knew you first -- I'll remember you to the last. Yes, we go way back to when you were Private Ruth Hutchinson, which is why you will always be "Hutch" to me, your buddy "Okey" (once known as Private M. O'Connor, CWAC).

Knowing Ruth since my childhood she was always a great friend, resource, fun and fascinating to talk to. I will miss her terribly. She was one of a kind not found much now. My sympathies to all on her loss.

I wish I could think of something to write that was half as wise and witty and wonderful as Ruth herself was. What a privilege it was to work with her for awhile and get to know her a little. She will remain one of the very, very special ladies and mentors in my life.

She was always Cousin Ruth, and she always made me feel like one of the family. I will miss her and feel for your loss. Uschi

Ruth Weeks was one of the most compassionate, gracious, intelligent and talented women I have been priveleged t know. She will be missed by her many friends and relatives.

Dr. Weeks was a wonderful person, kind and compassionate. She was wonderful to me and I am so grateful.
