Ruth Cynthia Ree Walker Williams, 88, affectionately known in Hardee County as "Miss

Cindy", joined Heaven's family at the Tidewell Arcadia Hospice House on January 12,

2026, surrounded by her loving family and wonderful care team. Born December 14,

1937, in Blue Springs, Alabama, most of her life was dedicated to the support and

encouragement of her beloved husband in service to God and Country, and her four

children.

"Miss Cindy" spent many years teaching young children in Sunday School and

Children's Church at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Wauchula, FL. After her husband's

retirement, she continued to minister to those who were homebound and sick.

She is preceded in death by husband, Rev Jimmy R Williams Sr; her parents, Cotis Oyd

Walker and Mary Ruth Strickland Walker; 2 brothers, Earl and Durwood Walker; 3

sisters, Becky Gray Mooneyham, Betty Sargent, Sarah Walker; and a great-grandson

Hunter Abbott.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy "Jimbo" Williams Jr (Kim) of Littleton, CO; daughters,

Terri Brown (Gil) of Wauchula, Tonya Albert (Bill) of Wesley Chapel, FL, Dana Abbott

(Ronnie) of Wauchula; three brothers Nelson Walker of Smith Station, AL, Spurgeon

Walker of Pittsview, AL, and Max Walker of Salem, AL; grandchildren, Dr Bailee Oliff

(James) of Denver, CO; Jarrah "Gunnar" Brown of Wauchula, FL; Kristy Little of

Asheville, NC; Gabriel Albert of St Petersburg, FL; Luke Albert(Sonja) of New Port

Richey, FL; Thomas Ryan Abbott(Amanda) of Wauchula; William Abbott (Cassidy) of

Avon Park, FL; Jessica Garner (Doug) of Wauchula; Great grandchildren, Jimmy Little;

Theodore Albert, Kai and Skylar Kinna; Lane, Lyla and Levi Abbott; Paislee and Emma

Abbott; Dalton, James, and Weston Garner, and Jordan Benning.

A visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 7:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. A second visitation will be held at Holman Funeral Home of Ozark on Saturday, January 17, 2026 @ 10:00 A.M. in Ozark, Alabama

Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Ozark, AL
