Ruth Wilson, age 91, of Florence, KY, peacefully passed away on August 29, 2025. Born in Burkesville, KY, on October 7, 1933, to Millard Shaw and Annie Mae Shaw.

Ruth dedicated her life to her family. She followed her husband Dallis around the country as he traveled for work. She loved her 6 children, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Ruth is predeceased by her devoted husband, Dallis Wilson, who passed away in December 2013, her cherished daughter, Linda, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her siblings: Kenny Shaw (Brenda), and Robbie Sipple (Blaney). Her children: Susie Hawkins (Mark), Barbara Bowmann (Ken), Shirley Stein (Jeff), Roger Wilson (Kim), and Candy Gavin (Gary). Along with her treasured grandchildren: Chris White (Jessica), Kim Hans (Ron), Matt White (Maria), Michelle Jeffers (Mike), Roger D Wilson (Travis), Cody Gavin (Kasey), Sara Wilson (Corey), and Samantha Wadkins (Tydus). Her great-grandchildren: Andrew Monahan (Kyra), Lilly McDougal (Andrew), Kaylee Hite (John), Hunter Jeffers, Emily White, Nicholas White, Evalynn White, Emma White, Ethan White, Millie Wadkins, and Walker Wadkins. And her great-great-grandchildren: Madalynn Monahan, Kinslee Hite, Carter McDougal, Ryleigh Monahan, Jace Hite, and Landon McDougal.

The Visitation will be held from 3 PM to 5 PM, followed by a Private Family Service at 5 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, located at 7500 US 42, Florence, KY 41042. The burial will take place at the Hubbard Family Cemetery in Edmonton, KY.
