Bevil Bros. Funeral Home - Beaver DamBEAVER DAM - Ryan Scott Barksdale, 31, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky was taken from us on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 10:45 p.m. He was born in New Bern, North Carolina. He was raised and graduated from Ohio County, Kentucky. He has lived in Poplar Bluff, Missouri for the last 5 years.
Ryan enjoyed life and was full of smiles and laughter. He was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He stayed working three jobs. He had a place in his heart for animals, especially turtles. He was passionate about basketball, music and his games. He loved the outdoors. He cherished his time with family, friends and never met a stranger. My baby boy, Ryan, was humble and kind to all. Let his smile shine through your sadness.
He is survived by his two sons, Jace and Hunter Barksdale of Windsor, New York; his loving mother, Christina Barksdale (Michael Morrison) of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; his brother, Cory and nephew, Landon Putnam of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; and his loving grandmother, Janet Hodge of Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
