Ryan Bearheels Obituary
Ryan enjoyed playing basketball during his youth and also riding horses and working on the family ranch. He enjoyed driving a tractor, plowing the fields, and putting up hay. He received his elementary education in Spearfish and Kadoka and graduated at Crazy Horse High School in 1978.
Ryan is survived by his daughter, Rhiannon of Spearfish, SD; sons, Brennan of Yankton, SD and Adalbert of Marty, SD; brothers, Jerome Lee and Harold both of Aberdeen, SD; sisters, Robin of Seattle, WA, Christle of Albuquerque, NM, DeAnn of Rapid City, SD, and Laurel of Kadoka, SD; and also many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ryan was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Iris Bearheels; paternal grandparents, Stacey & Gladys Bearheels; maternal grandparents, Vetal & Nancy Romero; brothers, Craig and Sheldon; sister, Jewel; and niece, Krisene.
Pallbearers will be Cody Young, Stanley "Bubba" Young, Nicholas Young, Zack Stone, Torian Romero, & Cordal Romero.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ken & Karen Toews, Cliff Stone, Kenny Kusick, Grant Patterson, Jesse Nau, Starla Brown, and his Baby Chihuahua-Chloe.
Visitation Services: Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the Kadoka Presbyterian Church in Kadoka, SD.
Funeral Services: 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the Kadoka Presbyterian Church in Kadoka, SD.
Officiating: Pastor Ken Toews
Burial Services: 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the Kadoka City Cemetery, Kadoka, SD
Arrangements entrusted with the Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD
