Ryan Carmack Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ellis Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Nashville on Jan. 19, 2026.
Ryan Christopher Carmack, age 40, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January

15, 2026.

Ryan lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength. He graduated from Hector

High School in 2003, earned his bachelor's degree from Arkansas Tech University in

2008, and later completed his master's degree from Capella University in 2015. A

dedicated professional, Ryan worked for Entergy for nine years as a Senior Lead

Information Security Analyst, where he was known for his integrity, humility, and steady

leadership.

On September 13, 2014, Ryan married the love of his life, Courtney Carmack (Larson).

Together they built a life centered on faith and devotion to their family. Ryan was a

proud and loving father to his children, Lauren Mabel Carmack and Cameron Esten

Carmack, born on July 23, 2022. Being their dad was one of his greatest joys and most

meaningful roles.

Ryan was the beloved son of Yvonne and John Carmack of Clinton who raised him with

strong values, a deep faith and an unwavering commitment to family. He shared a

close and meaningful bond with his parents and was grateful for their love, guidance

and constant support throughout his life. Ryan carried those lessons forward, living with

quiet integrity and compassion in all that he did.

Ryan deeply valued his extended family in Indiana and Tennessee and the close

relationships he shared with them. He cherished time spent together, whether during

holidays, family gatherings or quiet moments of connection. His loyalty, thoughtfulness

and steady presence made him someone his family could always depend upon, and his

love for them was constant and sincere.

He found peace outdoors-playing golf, hiking, hunting, and fishing. His faith guided

every part of his life, and he was a faithful member of The Church at Rock Creek, where

his beliefs were reflected through his actions and the way he loved others.

Ryan will be remembered for his deep devotion to family, his steadfast faith, and the

quiet presence that made people feel seen, safe, and valued. His life was full of

meaning, and his absence will be deeply felt.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at The Church at Rock

Creek, located at 11500 West 36th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m.
