Died: April 20, 2024 in Granville, Illinois
Ryan P. Keenan, 37, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at his residence in Granville.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
Celebration of Life will be at 6:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home. Fr. Patrick DeMeulemeester will officiate the service. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Ryan was born on April 22, 1986 in Spring Valley to Mike and Lisa (Lijewski) Keenan.
Ryan graduated from Putnam County High School and attended IVCC. He worked as a order filler at Pet Smart. He was also a server at Jersey Grill in Davenport, Iowa.
He enjoyed technology working on phones and electrical systems on cars. He loved animals, watching movies new and old and taking family fishing trips to Minnesota when he was younger. He played guitar and won awards playing with his brother. Ryan also painted on canvas and was very conscious of all the new fashion styles.
Survivors include his father and mother, Michael and Lisa Keenan of Granville; maternal grandmother, Helene Lijewski; one brother, Nicholas Keenan of LaSalle and one sister, Erin Keenan of Bradley, IL.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
