Ryan Neutz Obituary
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Roy & Betty Cecil, grandparents Carl & Keiko Neutz, uncle Doug Devine, cousin Walker Mills, and sister Maria.
He was raised in the Fern Creek and J-Town community with many friends who enjoyed being around his presence. He graduated from St. Gabriel elementary school and St. Xavier High School in 2013 and 2017, respectively. Ryan enjoyed playing sports, being with his family and friends, and sight seeing. He was an intense competitor and gifted athlete. He played many sports throughout his life, including football, volleyball, and golf. He once scored 7 touchdowns in a game to help propel the St. Gabriel Leopards to winning a Toy Bowl in 2011.
He enjoyed and loved being a Louisville Cardinals fan. He fiercely supported them through highs and lows. He especially enjoyed watching the Cardinals win the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans and the National Championship in Atlanta.
We miss Ryan with all our hearts, but know he's in a better place. His grandparents and sister are greeting him at the gates of heaven for his everlasting life. Ryan's contagious and uplifting smile will forever be remembered and will provide comfort to all those he knew.
A visitation honoring Ryan will be held at Pearson's Funeral Home, 149 Breckenridge Lane, on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
The funeral service will be held at Pearson's at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 20th, followed by a burial at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness Louisville (NAMI Louisville). https://namilouisville.org/donate
Arrangements are under the direction of Pearson's, "Where Louisville goes to remember."
