Ryan was always there for us. He was as solid and dependable as an oak, and as fixed as a star shining in the night.

We could count on him, and he can never be replaced.

He always worked for our good. He kept a positive attitude in the midst of challenges.

He loved music, and sometimes, I could hear his latest songs when I walked by.

Some months ago, Ryan asked me to bring my violin to work. : ) He tried to play it, and mentioned how he played guitar with a band.

He offered great tips for saving money on instruments.

I have lost track of the number of times I saw Ryan rescuing me or others at work. His workmanship was also incredible.

I offer this prayer:

God,
Wrap Your arms around Ryan's family and all of us who are suffering from his passing. Comfort us, and draw us close to You. Give us Your peace and speak to us.

May we all see Ryan again, and enter Your eternal heaven ~ as family and friends.

Ryan and I worked together but more importantly he was my close friend, a best friend actually. Sometimes you meet someone that just gets you and you can tell anything to. That's who Ryan was to me. He went out of his way to make people laugh and had such an amazing sense of humor. He cared so much for his friends and family, and I admired that about him. I will treasure my memories with him forever and he will never be forgotten.

Ryan-I hope you are hanging out in your hammock at the river enjoying nature or perhaps listening to a good podcast or stand-up. I am sorry we never got to dance, but one day we will. You will always be loved.

Ryan was one of my favorite people to work with at Kratos. He had an energy to him that said "We're going to do it now, do it well, and have fun doing it.". After COVID all but emptied out the office, one of my top reasons for looking forward to a day in the office was to pay a visit to Ryan's office and talk about our latest house projects and other endeavors.

Our Lanham office has lost a great man and I've lost a good friend.

To Ryan:
"Brother - be at peace; lay down your burden, take your rest, and we'll see you soon."

A prayer for Ryan and his family:
Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the universe, who welcomes us with a warm embrace and says "Well done, my good and faithful servant." We're stricken with grief at this sudden parting of ways. Please accept Ryan into your loving arms and let Ryan's family feel your presence like a hand on their shoulder. Give them the strength they so desperately need right now and keep their grief from turning to despair. Amen."
