Ryan Reinhardt Obituary
Ryan Charles Reinhardt was born on October 11, 1972, in Minneapolis, MN. He was the son of Charles Reinhardt of Salina, KS, and Colleen Krause Schmidt of Bismarck, ND. Ryan attended school in Zap, ND, and Salina, KS. He graduated as a member of the last high school graduating class in Zap, ND. He went on to work various jobs and spent many years as an ironworker. His work led him to live in different places, including many years in Aberdeen, SD.
Ryan was married to Dawn Akerley for a short time in 1999.
If you spent any time with Ryan, you know he loved to laugh. He enjoyed singing and listening to music – the louder the better – and playing his electric bass and acoustic guitars. Ryan prized his black Harley Davidson motorcycle and 1975 green Lincoln Continental. He would often meet friends for lunch and loved his family dearly, talking on the phone for hours and attending gatherings whenever possible.
Ryan is survived by his parents; his sisters, Rhea (Kevin) Beto and Wendy (Antonio) Caldwell; his stepfather, Leonard Schmidt, and stepbrothers, Russ (Gail) Schmidt and Neil (Elena) Schmidt; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents, five uncles, and a niece.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 21, 2025, in Warner, SD. (More details to come.)
