Ryan William Ruffin, 48, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at his home. On August 28, 1974, he was born in Pryor, to Randy Ruffin and Debbie (Trundle) Motter. He enjoyed doing things outside such as gardening vegetables and planting flowers to create beautiful flower beds. Taking an interest in cooking, he loved trying new recipes. He also loved to watch movies. He took any opportunity to play a round of golf until he was unable due to shoulder surgery. He loved the time he was able to spend around his family and he had a special love for his five-year-old cocker spaniel, Daisy. He leaves behind many wonderful memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2023, in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Wilson officiating. He is survived by his mother, Debbie Motter and husband Ronnie of Inola, OK; father, Randy Ruffin and wife Robin of Broken Arrow, OK; brother, Eric Motter and wife Jessica; sister, Kamryn Cunningham and husband Ross of Tulsa, OK; maternal grandfather, Phillip Trundle and friend Thelma of Pryor, OK; nieces and nephews, Caleb, Chloe, Nathan, Anna, and one on the way; aunt, Cindy Proctor and Mark Smith of Claremore, OK; and uncles, Ron Ruffin and wife Janine of Hillsboro, Missouri, and Terry Ruffin and wife Marie of Pryor, OK. He is preceded in death by his brother, Noah Martin; paternal grandparents, Jo and Earl Ruffin; and maternal grandmother, Nancy Trundle.
