Ryan M. Taylor, 40, of Fredericksburg, Va., passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, after succumbing to the long-term effects of a medical emergency he suffered in 2014.

Born on January 17, 1985, in Fredericksburg, Va., Ryan was a graduate of Massaponax High School. He went on to earn his degree in Business Information Technology from Virginia Tech in 2007. Go Hokies!!

Ryan found great fulfillment in his career, working for a Google partner company, where he thrived until his health challenges required him to enter long-term care.

Ryan is survived by his loving mother, Mary; father, Roger; brother, Jason; sister-in-law, Emily; nephew, Cole; niece, Cora; and half-brother, Michael.

He will be remembered for his passion, resilience, and the joy he brought to those around him. Arrangements are private, and the family appreciates the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Earlier today

I´m so sorry for your loss. Ryan, Perry and my son Matthew were friends from Spotswood ES to Massaponix HS. They rode their bikes all over the neighborhood getting into mischief daily I´m sure! Ryan was a kind and sweet boy and grew into a kind and gentle young man. Hugs and prayers to the family. May he now rest in peace.
