Ryder Alan Brown

Our precious baby boy, Ryder Alan Brown, given to us on December 25, 2025, was called home to our Lord on March 16, 2026. Our family was not prepared to lose our cherished baby so soon, but we are eternally grateful for the amount of time we were blessed to spend with him.

Named after his great-grandfather, Ryder Alan was a blessing to our family. From the very first prenatal visit to his very last breath, Ryder showed us how much of a fighter he was. Even at 11 weeks old, we could see his feisty personality and his preference for the things that he enjoyed. From his first feeding, Ryder chose his person and would only eat for his Dad. Ryder loved music (especially Creedence Clearwater Revival and the song "Low Rider" by War), the warmth of the sunshine, and when his Mommy would sing to him. And even though he would side eye his Shu- Shu, Ryder loved when she would wash his back during bath time. Most importantly, Ryder loved lying with his twin brother, Maverick, as they snuggled and soothed each other. Ryder's feisty personality earned him many nicknames in the short amount of time that he was here, such as "Rough Ryder," "Rowdy Ryder," and "Duckie," but above all, "Little Love."

Ryder passed away in the loving arms of his mother, surrounded by family. Though Ryder's life was too short, it was filled with love, kisses, smiles, laughter, and excitement.

Ryder is survived by his loving family, his mother, Alyssa Marie Couch; his father, Matthew Russell Brown; his twin brother, Maverick Grant Brown; his oldest brother, Matthew; his oldest sister, Brooklyn; his sister, Kali; and his brother, CJ. He is also survived by his grandparents, Bobby Couch and Nikki Couch; Susan Costa and Charlie Rock; and Ellen Brown; great-grandmother, Eduarda Costa; his uncle, Randy (Jessica) Costa; his uncle, Austin Couch; and his cousins, Dean, Rory, and Harper Costa, and Madison and Everly Couch. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Billy and Doris Couch; Serafim Costa; and Julia and Russell Alan O'Day.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 4 - 5 pm at McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating.
