Ryleigh Lynn Daigle

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ryleigh Lynn Daigle, who left this world far too soon on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the age of 20. Ryleigh was a bright light whose kindness, humor, and compassion touched everyone she met. She was truly an angel on earth, radiating warmth and love wherever she went. Ryleigh had a deep love for animals and was always the first to lend a helping hand to a stray or a friend in need. Her greatest joys came from spending time with her nephews, laughing and making memories that will forever be cherished. Ryleigh adored Taylor Swift's music, often singing along to her favorite songs with a smile that could light up any room. She dreamed of becoming a nurse and was currently in her third year of nursing school at Nicholls State University. Ryleigh was an incredible and compassionate caregiver in the making that was driven by her natural empathy and gentle heart. Those who knew Ryleigh will always remember how kind and goofy she was. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone; she was fiercely loyal to her friends and had an effortless way of meeting new ones. Ryleigh truly came alive in big groups, but her one-on-one moments were just as special, filled with care, laughter, and support. She was always willing to try something new with those she loved. Ryleigh asked questions, remembered the little things, and made everyone feel seen. Her laughter, sweet demeanor, and lovely smile will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 9:30am until religious services at 1:30pm, conducted by Pastor Bill Pruitt. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church Cemetery, White Castle. Ryleigh is lovingly survived by her parents, Travis Daigle and Bridget Fillmore; stepmother, Jennifer Hebert Daigle; siblings, Brooke Barrient, Travis "TJ" Daigle, Jr., and Kayle Daigle; nieces and nephews, Avery and August Barrient, Ashton Cedotal, Ace and Ava Daigle, Chanse and Kai Daigle; paternal grandparents, Kim and Dianne Daigle; maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Belinda Gros; aunts and uncles, Misty Schexnaildre, Chad Schexnaildre, Cody Daigle, Lonnie Gros, Jr. and wife Rachel, Jessica Gros and Andre, Candy Gros and Brandon; and numerous cousins. Pallbearers will be Cody Daigle, Kade Schexnaildre, Chad Schexnaildre, Lonnie Gros Jr., Andre Watkins, and Brendon Leonard. Ryleigh's warmth, laughter, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She was an angel on earth, and now she watches over her loved ones from above.
