S. Baldev Singh Obituary
S. Baldev Singh, 89 of Fishers, IN passed away Thursday, December 11th, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital- Indianapolis.
He was born in Padhiana, Punjab, India on September 18th, 1936 to Bir Singh and Bant Kaur. Baldev was a respected member of the Indian Army, serving his beloved country as a Captain. Baldev married his wife Nachittar Kaur, with whom he built a beautiful family.
Baldev found purpose and peace in his strong values. As a devout member of the Sikh faith, Baldev was a selfless servant to Waheguru and his community. He was exceptionally kind and generous to anyone, regardless of their walk of life. Baldev followed his children from Punjab, India to Indiana and reveled in the company of his family.
Baldev is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 70 years, Nachittar, his brothers Gurdial Singh and Sukhchian Singh, and by his 6 children, Jagtar (Francis) Singh, Parminder (Sital Singh) Hira, Sukhjinder (Ramesh Lal) Kaur, Daljit (Mandeep Kaur) Singh, Harnek (Kuldeep Kaur) Singh, and Kamaljit (Dharampal Singh) Kaur. Baldev is survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
