Sakhoeut Khoun, 45, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday at Upstate University Hospital.
Sakhoeut was born in Thailand and migrated to the United States in 1984. She was a dedicated and beloved server at Denny's, where she built lasting relationships with many regulars for over 25 years.
She enjoyed watching her favorite TV show, Roseanne, and sharing the excitement of sports with her husband. Sakhoeut's greatest pleasure came from the simple moments spent with her loved ones, whether it was a yearly camping trip or a family gathering on any given day of the week. She had a love for fishing and was always the heart of family celebrations, often hosting meals that brought everyone together. She loved to cook alongside her husband.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ping and Sourm Duch; nephew, Kevin Lashom; and father-in-law, Chuck Moore.
Survivors include her loving husband of 28 years, Cameron Moore; children, Cameron Moore, Jr., Ayden Moore, and Aubrey Moore; parents, Van and Thorn Duch; brothers, Thin, Phany, and David Vang; mother-in-law, Cozie Moore Stephens; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
