Miss Angevine was a long time part of our family's early school years at Marian Smith School in East Point, GA. She was respected and highly regarded as a great lady. Our condolences and sincerest prayers for her and her family during this most difficult time, and in the days, weeks, months and years ahead.

Sally was a ray of sunshine who brightened my life with her radiant smile, her yummy cookies and finally, Dora, whom Sally nursed back to health and placed with me. Thank you, Sally, for the many blessings you have left here for the rest of us.

I am so sorry for her loss. She taught my oldest son in the 2nd grade at Marion Smith Elementary school. I saw her often during the time I drove a school bus at Highpoint Elementary school. She was so kind. She loved all the children who entered her classroom. She always made the parents feel welcome in her classroom at the teacher/parent conferences. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Sincerely,
Rosana (Ussery) Harris

I met Sally when I first moved onto Weigelia Road almost 10 years ago. She was the first person to welcome me to the neighborhood. I first saw her with a small dog that she was fostering. Over the years I would see her with many many other small dogs, sometimes ones that were so sick or old that they couldn´t walk and she would push them up and down the street in a stroller which was absolutely adorable. I have blueberries and figs growing in my front yard and I never knew what to do with them, so every year I would give them to Sally who would turn them into Cookies and other delicious treats for me, my kids, other people in the neighborhood and one time she even fed an entire crew of workmen that were resurfacing the asphalt on our street. When my dog Hampton died, Sally made a donation in his name to Angels among us Dog rescue where she had been volunteering for for several years. It was such a lovely thing to get during that time of grief; she was able to make sure that the money she donated in Hampton`s memory went to the next large breed male dog that they took in & it would be named Hampton. It was so touching that ever since that day so many years ago, I have made it my practice to do the same loving thing for any of my friends or family when they lose a beloved pet. The angels among us charity was so special because they send the recipient a handwritten note telling them of the donation in their pets honor. Sally was such a neat and spunky lady and always made me laugh and smile. This street will feel a little lonelier without her.

I met Sally as a freshman at Truett McConnell College and we remained friends for 50+ years. She was a bridesmaid in my first wedding, was there for baby showers, reunions, shopping trips, and dinners out. She always knew the best restaurants in Atlanta but the most enjoyable meals were together in her home. We shared a love of books, blue porch ceilings, and our southern upbringing.
Sally was the best of us-always loving, laughing, and most of all loyal.

Libby, Hicks and I lived across the street from the Angevines on Scotvalley Road in Sandy Springs. When we moved to Atlanta in 1963, they were our first friends, living next door to the Evan´s. Sally was always such a kind friend. My mother just adored Florence and Sally.

The Gilbert´s Carolyn, Clay, Danny, and Patrick (Tommy met Sally in Heaven) send our heart-felt condolences of the loss of your dear sister, Sally.
We were so fortunate to have Sally (and you Susan) to "babysit" us four boys regularly! Sally was our favorite!
She was always full of joy, care, and love.

God BLESS You,

I met Sally while working in the ER at Emory University Hospital. She volunteered her time, brought us too-tasty cookies, and added such a sweet, positive presence in an often stressful space. I barely knew her, and yet not because of how bright a light she was. She was the definition of kind. Thankful that she is with her Maker without any illness or hardship. Blessings to those close to her, I pray for a beautiful funeral celebrating this wonderful lady´s life.

My family lived across the street from the Angevines on Scotvalley. I just happened to see Sally´s obituary. I always admired Sally while growing up and thoroughly enjoyed playing at her house and riding bikes down the steep driveway. Such wonderful memories. Please accept my condolences on her passing, she was well loved! Patti McConnell Rickman

We have know Sally since our days at Peachtree Battle condominiums in the late 70´s. Lucky for us, we have had the fantastic opportunity to remain close through all of these years- we bright her to Hawaii when we had a home there, we visited her at her Weigelia home and gifted her a set of my mother´s China that she loved! We will truly miss her and will forever be greatful for dear friendship through the years.
May her memory forever be a blessing.

Sally was such a kind soul. She introduced me to fostering dogs and was without a doubt a dog-whisperer. My condolences to her family. She was a treasure.

I taught school with Sally at Lake Windward in Alpharetta. We became friends as we were nextdoor to each other at school. She always had some delicious dessert to share at school.

Sweet Sally was part of our Angel family for years. I know she is up there right now, cuddling the pups we have lost and making sure they are well taken care of. We have lost a wonderful friend.

I knew Sally through her sister, Susan. She had a wonderful sense of humor and made the best cookies! I was happy to be with her on several important occasions in Susan's life, both in Atlanta and on Fripp Island. I'll always remember her fun stories and her laugh. She took me shopping a few times, to the airport a few times for flights back to TX, and even let me use her brand new "long/soaking tub" to relax when I missed one of my flights! RIP, Sally; you blessed many lives and are no longer suffering.

What a sweet soul, always cheerful and smiling. She loved the music at Second Ponce and always complimented the choir and orchestra after a service. Sorry for her struggle but glad for her that it's now over.
