Sarah "Sally" Ann Crady, age 82 of Janesville, WI passed away on September 10, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 2, 1942, in Massillon, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Effie (Davis) Sanders. She graduated from Washington High School in Massillon where she was a member of the Tiger Swing Band Orchestra.
Sally married Charles J. Crady on December 20, 1963, in Elgin, Ill. She was employed as food service director for Zion Lutheran School, Marengo, Ill., and retired as food service director of Marengo, Ill. School District #165.
Sally enjoyed sewing, gardening and landscaping. She will be remembered for the many beautiful cakes she decorated for weddings and special occasions. She attended Westside Baptist Church.
Sally Crady is survived by her precious daughters, Wendy (Rusty) Dillon, Gale Broderick, Deb Shepard (Tom), and Gretchen Butler (Thomas); grandsons, Patrick (Kristin), Keith (Erin), Jesse, Brody (Charli), Caleb (Anna), and Greg; granddaughter, Rachel; great-grandchildren Nora, Emmett, Orion, and Winni. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, sister, son-in-law and husband.
A visitation of remembrance will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville with a service to follow at 3 p.m. at the FUNERAL HOME to be officiated by Chaplain Dennis Richards of Mercy Hospice.
