She was born November 30, 1940, in Anderson, Indiana to Dr. Andrew L. and Esther M. (Lipp) Wessar.
She was a former group home manager with Your Friends and Neighbors based in Noble and Allen Counties. She had also been a school bus driver for Central Noble School Corportation.
She attended Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Rome City.
Sally enjoyed knitting and reading.
Surviving are four daughters, Gina Pratt of Goshen, Gennie Gorsuch of Corunna, Meridith (Stephen) Shortridge of Kendallville, and Leah (Ryan) Jagger of Columbia City; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. James (Judy) Wessar of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Nathan Shortridge in 2022; and a brother, George Wessar.
There will be no visitation or funeral services.
Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
