Sally Ellison Obituary

She found joy and beauty in the world around her - whether it was exploring new destinations on family vacations, relaxing by the ocean, or admiring the birds outside her window. A creative spirit, she loved making crafts and sharing her creations with her daughter, having deep conversations with her son, and taking drives with her husband. Above all, she cherished her family. Her greatest pride and happiness came from her children, and every moment shared with them filled her life with love and purpose. Her love for God shone through the way she loved her family and everyone around her.
Sally is survived by her loving husband, Brian Ellison; children: Brittany Ellison and Tommy Ellison; parents: Bud and Kay Prather; sisters: Katie (Jason) Bailey, Sarah Moore, Amy Prather; brothers: Buddy (Robin) Prather, Jake Prather, Joe (Hannah) Prather, Reuben (Susan) Prather, Luke (Kayleigh) Prather, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a service to celebrate her life at Meyers Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation by bringing to services or mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, PO Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
