Sally Ann (Isom) Furgiuele, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away after a long illness on November 23, 2024. Born on August 21, 1937, in Oceanside, New York, Sally was the cherished daughter of Arthur and Genevieve Isom and sister to Kathleen (Isom) Eckroth. She graduated from Oceanside High School in 1955, marking the beginning of a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
In 1964, Sally married John Furgiuele of the Bronx, New York, and together they built a beautiful life in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey, where they raised their family. In their later years, Sally and John moved to Buford, Georgia. Sally retired from her career as an accounts' payable representative at Turnils in 2005.
Sally is survived by her husband John Furgiuele, children, Susan Minter and her husband Keith of Lords Valley, PA, and Nancy Bauer of Jacksonville, FL. She was a proud grandmother to Lindsay, Dylan, Anthony, and Evan, and a great-grandmother to Lucy and Noah.
A woman of many talents, Sally had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Bella. She found joy in crafting, particularly in cross-stitch and crochet, was an avid reader of People Magazine, and never missed the chance to watch a good Hallmark movie. Her passion for team trivia brought her much happiness and many dear friends.
Sally's warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Buckman officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., the time of the funeral service.
