Sally Golfman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Woodhead Funeral Home - Falmouth on Mar. 3, 2026.
Sally Jean Golfman passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 77 years old. Born on July 18, 1948, in Hinton, WV, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Erma Criddle Taylor. On May 25, 1990, she married Randy Golfman, and he survives her passing. Sally worked as a dispatcher at Northern Kentucky University before retiring as Center Manager of the Pendleton County Senior Center. It was there that she truly left her mark, building lasting friendships and serving her community with compassion and dedication. She also gave generously of her time through volunteer work with CERT, RSVP, Search & Rescue, and other organizations close to her heart. Sally's kindness, strength, and servant's heart will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Sally loved to take her crew to the casinos, work puzzles, and play Euchre. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and was an animal lover. She and Randy had a special love for their dogs.

Sally is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Randy Wayne Golfman; her brother, John S. Taylor (Jean); her daughter, Renee McKinney (Hugh); her son, Shawn Hayslette (Beekee); and her stepsons, Ron Golfman (Lonnya) and Doug Golfman (John). She was a proud grandmother to Derick and Justin Fleshman, Cameron "Alex" Stracener (Gracie) and Coty Stracener; Logan and Keegan Hayslette; Becka White (Quinton) and Katie Burke (Greg) and a cherished great-grandmother to many.

In addition to her parents, Leonard Ray "Bill" and Erma Jean Criddle Taylor, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James W. "Jake" Taylor and Ronald Ray Taylor.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth with Bro. Evan Williams officiating. A memorial gathering will take place from 12-2 preceding the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pendleton County Animal Shelter: 1314 Bryan Griffin Rd, Butler, KY 41006
