Sally Harburg

Sally Susan Harburg, 93, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at Timberhill Place Assisted Living in Corvallis, Oregon.

Sally was born on September 22, 1932 in Sterling Colorado to William and Marguerite Douglas, and was married to William Arthur Harburg of Denver, Colorado in 1949. As Sally's husband entered the Air Force, they found themselves travelling all over the US and to various international countries while he was in service, while raising their four children. After retirement, they found themselves back in Corvallis, Oregon, where they had been stationed twice before; and decided to plant their roots there.

Sally was well known as a devoted member of St. Mary's Church, and was a director and member of Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers for nearly 30 years.

Her hobbies included playing bridge, and was an avid knitter and crocheter.

Sally was preceded in death by husband William Arthur Harburg, and daughter Kathryn Susan Gennaro.

She is survived by her sons, William, John, and Robert Harburg, grandchildren Brent and Suzanne Gennaro, Gwyn, Sarah, and Amy Harburg, Derek and Sean Harburg, as well as two great grandchildren, Liam and Seamus.

A Memorial service will take place in honor of Sally at St. Mary's Church (date to be announced).
