Sally L. Heaney

Sally Heaney born on February 11th 1945 in San Francisco, CA to Albert F Mock and Virginia Mock, passed away on June 6th 2024, at the age of 79, after having dementia.
In late 1967, while serving in the U.S. Air Force at Scott AFB IL, she met her future husband Bob Heaney Jr. The two were married on February 22, 1969, and together had their two sons, Bob III and Jason. Sally and Bob celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on 2/22/2024.
Sally grew up in Orangevale, CA, where she attended Orangevale and Roberts elementary schools before graduating from San Juan High in 1963. Later she went into the Huntington Woman's Job Corps and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1967.
Sally took immense pride in her husband, two sons, grandchildren, and extended family. She was a devoted mother and wife, cherished by her loved ones. A passionate fan of the SF Giants and the SF 49ers, and attended games regularly with her family.
Sally's legacy is one of love, kindness, and resilience. She will be deeply missed by her husband Bob, her sons Bob III and Jason, her grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her spirit will inspire future generations to live with the same grace and love she embodied.
