Sally Klein of Milton, formerly of Hyde Park, passed away on June 20, 2025 at 94 years of age.
Devoted daughter of Isadore & Anna (Stone) Atkins. Beloved wife of the late Alan Klein. Loving mother of Janet Moscater (Gregory), Jonathan Klein (Wendy), Andrew Klein (partner Libbi Gaiser). Cherished grandmother of Alex (fiancé Abby Connolly), Nina Klein, and Georgia Branger-Klein. Dear sister of Harold Atkins.
Sally was most known for her extraordinary love of family and friends. For many years, she was a dedicated member of Temple Adas Hadrath Israel, where she served for a term as President of the Sisterhood. Sally was very sociable, an avid knitter, bargain shopper, and mahjongg player. She spent many of her summers on Nantasket Beach surrounded by family and friends, sitting on the beach in the afternoon, then adjourning to the beach house for happy hour. There will be many who will miss her.
A chapel service will be held at Schlossberg Family's Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington St., Canton on Tuesday, June 24 at 10:00AM with burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. The graveside service at the cemetery will be kept short due to the forecasted Heat Advisory.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ming Du Restaurant, 657 Washington Street, Stoughton for family and friends to gather and share memories of a life well lived immediately following the interment until 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who wish to make a charitable gift to the Joslin Diabetes Center, One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215. 617.309.2400 * joslin.org/giving.
