Sally Ann LeCloux, 82, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on July 3, 2024. She was born April 27, 1942, in Sturgeon Bay to Chester and Marion (Skippon) Weborg. After Chester was killed in WW II, her mother married Raymond Hartl who became a loving father to her. On August 25, 1962, she married Ralph LeCloux, he preceded her in death on January 15, 1987.
Sally was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She always had a positive outlook on life. She was passionate about her faith in Christ and lived her life loving and serving others. She was a very selfless person who always put others before herself and was quick to help anyone in need. She was a great role model for her family and hoped to leave them with a legacy of sincere faith in God.
Sally had a special love for children. For many years she worked as a caregiver for numerous children, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved going on rides in the car, shopping for others, and cooking for her family. Sally particularly appreciated nature as she grew older. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family as she helped to establish a foundation for their faith in God.
Survivors include four children, Kevin (fiancé Amy Frisch) LeCloux, Bellevue; Kelly LeCloux, Sturgeon Bay; Amy Benoit, Sturgeon Bay; Terry (Kendall) LeCloux, Sturgeon Bay; eight grandchildren, Chris, Courtney, Carly, Travis, Zachary, Matthew, Molly, and Jack; ten great-grandchildren; one sister Debra (Gerard) Ratajczak; and one brother Greg (Lisa) Hartl. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, husband Ralph; and brother Gary Hartl.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Forbes Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. On-line condolences may be offered at forbesfuneralhome.com
Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Door County Medical Center, Unity Hospice, Father Birdsall, and John Hauser for all the wonderful care and comfort.
