Sally A. Martin

Sally Ann (Gross) Martin, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, at age 76.
Sally was born and raised by Sam and Ruth Gross in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. She loved The Beatles, horses, miniatures and chocolate, but she loved her family most of all. She raised five children and often welcomed family friends into her home when they needed a safe place to land.
Sally is survived by her husband of 50 years, Forrest Martin; her children Kimberly Permenter (Kirk), Brent Martin (Connie), Craig Martin (Elizabeth), Dawn Mortensen (Brian) and Suzi Spencer; grandchildren Maddie, Carissa, Julian, Luke, Stephen, Calliope, Isaiah, Molly, Kitalya and Forrest; brother Kenneth Gross (Patti); sister-in-law Alice Gross; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless precious friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Sam Gross, Jr.; and grandchildren Sage, Taska, Elijah and Christopher.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14, at Hartson Funeral Home in Hales Corners. Visitation will be at 1pm, followed by the service at 3pm.
